The IKT Days in Vienna are organized in conjunction with the AIT (Austrian Institute of Technology) and the VRVis Center (Center for Virtual Reality and Visualization).
The event is titled "Seeing and understanding - images will help us decide" and includes a panel discussion with top-class participants and an exhibition of modern image processing and visualization technologies.
The participants of the podium are representatives from industry, business and the public sector and discuss the topic "R & D competence in Vienna - an engine for economic growth".
Important findings through cutting edge research find no place in the economy too often, so we discuss how to support and promote this transfer of innovative ideas and technologies into
industrial companies, commercial products and services for smart cities, just to name a few examples.
The panel discussion will be accompanied by an exhibition of modern visualization and image processing technologies that have emerged from successful Austrian Science and Research Excellence, designed for global businesses.
